He has run large-scale programmes spanning core banking modernisation, regulatory technology, AI implementation, and operating model redesign — always with a focus on delivery accountability and measurable outcomes.
On the talent side, Avtar has built and led senior hiring practices for technology and transformation roles, with a particular focus on the intersection of technical depth and leadership capability that organisations in the AI era need most.

Shailesh has spent his career at the intersection of organisational capability, leadership development, and behavioural change — working with banks, technology firms, and enterprises across Asia Pacific and beyond.
He is a specialist in making behaviour change stick. His work is grounded in the evidence that most training and leadership programmes fail not because the content is wrong, but because behaviour change is never properly installed — and he has built a practice around fixing that.
Shailesh designs and delivers targeted interventions — behavioural and technical — that are anchored to real work, measured by outcomes, and built to be sustained by the organisation independently after the engagement ends.
